Welcome to Learn to Sushi! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website learntosushi.com, our interactive sushi-making classes, private Sushi River events, online booking system, chatbot, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Our Services

Learn to Sushi offers:

  • Interactive sushi-making classes
  • Private Sushi River events (conveyor-style sushi experience with custom menus featuring river positions 1–5)
  • Custom menu proposals with signature sushi rolls including California Roll, Vegas Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Sweet Tuna Roll, Sensei Roll, Salmon Roll, Phoenix Roll, Sunrise Roll, Sunset Roll, and others, plus alternate entrées and Mochi Balls dessert
  • AI-powered chatbot assistance for questions about menus, bookings, allergies, and preferences

Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • You must provide accurate information, including number of people, arrival time, food start time, allergies, soy sauce preferences, dietary restrictions, and contact details.
  • Deposits or full payment may be required at the time of booking. All payments are processed through secure third-party providers. We do not store full credit card details.
  • Cancellations and refund policies are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for specific terms.

Program description

We send SMS messages to customers who have booked or inquired about interactive sushi classes or Sushi River events. These messages may include booking confirmations, custom menu proposals (including the Sushi River outline and specific roll details), event reminders (arrival time, food start time), responses to questions about allergies, soy sauce preferences, or sushi rolls, and other booking-related support. Messages are delivered via an AI-powered assistant powered by xAI Grok.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's plan.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your interactions and bookings. You may receive 1–8 messages per event or inquiry (confirmations, reminders, menu proposals, and replies to your questions).

Opt-out instructions

To stop receiving SMS messages at any time, simply reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive one final confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS communications from Learn to Sushi.

Important SMS notes

  • Consent to receive SMS is obtained via a clear checkbox on our website booking form and is not a condition of making a purchase or booking.
  • We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Message content is strictly related to your sushi class or Sushi River event.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, menus, images of sushi rolls, the Sushi River concept, and branding are the exclusive property of Learn to Sushi, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information during booking (especially regarding allergies or dietary needs).
  • Use our Services for any unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Harass our staff, instructors, or the chatbot.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learn to Sushi, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific event or class giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Davis County, Utah.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
